Key Swindon Site Information
Welcome to Swindon! Our Swindon facility houses our Zydis® fast dissolving tablet development and manufacturing operations as well as a CMC pharmaceutical analytical lab services unit that offers ASAP stability.
SECURITY
- All persons visiting the site must be pre-registered by their host and be asked to sign a Visitor’s Health statement prior to accessing the site.
- All visitors to the plant must check-in with Security at the Gatehouse and will be requested to provide the appropriate ID (passport, national ID document or photographic driving licence) upon arrival. This ID may also be used as registration if a visit has not been pre-registered.
- Visitors will be issued with and must wear a name badge, or a contractor pass at all times whilst on site. All visitors will be required to check out at the reception before leaving the site.
- Please park in visitor-designated parking areas.
- Please observe speed limits (10 mph) and stop signs while driving on the premises and yield to pedestrians.
- Taking photographs or videos is strictly not allowed on site.
SAFETY & EMERGENCY
- Visitors will be accompanied at all time whilst moving around the facility.
- In the event of a fire emergency, a long continuous alarm will sound. Your Catalent host or a member of the fire marshal team will escort you to the evacuation point via the nearest exit door.
- Accident or Injury – If you have an accident or feel ill, inform your host who will arrange for first aid.
GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP)
- This Pharmaceutical facility adheres to regulatory requirements for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Visitors are accompanied at all times within the facility.
- You will be provided with personal protective gowning requirements relevant to the areas visited during your stay. Jewellery will need to be removed prior to entering GMP Production areas.
- For safety, footwear should be closed toe and with a low heel.
SIGNS & WARNINGS
- Please be aware of displayed warning/personal protection signs and adhere to instruction issued by Catalent staff.
- Follow all posted signage relating to COVID-19, i.e. wearing masks, social-distancing, handwashing, etc.
- Do not enter restricted areas or touch any product, materials, machinery controls or equipment, unless authorised to do so by a Catalent employee.
IT & COMMUNICATIONS
- Catalent offers wireless internet access for our guest. Your host will pre-register you and make arrangements for internet access during your visit.
- Catalent provides guest printing services. For assistance, please contact your host.
AFTER YOUR VISIT
- You will be escorted by your host to reception. All security passes will need to be returned as instructed by the Security Gatehouse team.
