Catalent takes the health & safety of its employees seriously, so please do not attend site if you exhibit any symptoms of an infectious illness (including a positive COVID-19 test result) Please contact your Catalent host, so that Catalent can take the possible measures to minimize and prevent the spread within our site.
Key Nottingham Site Information
Catalent’s Nottingham facility focuses on early-stage development of small molecule drug candidates from the bench to clinic.
The Catalent Nottingham site is set up to improving patients’ lives by transforming promising molecules into finished products for clinical evaluation. We offer a broad range of integrated formulation and analytical services to solve your most difficult development and manufacturing challenges.
SECURITY
- Report any inappropriate or suspicious behaviors to your Catalent Representative.
- Visitors are expected to act in a professional manner while on Catalent property.
- Visitors should keep their “visitor badge” visible at all times.
- Please inform your Catalent Representative as soon as possible if you misplace your visitor badge.
- Photographs or videos of any kind are prohibited without the approval of the GM or EHS Manager.
- All doors should remain closed when not in use. Please refrain from propping open doors or allowing entry to unknown personnel.
- Please Park in visitor designated parking areas.
- Site Security is manned between the hours of 5pm-5am Monday to Friday and 5am-5am Saturday and Sunday.
- Please note that these premises are protected by CCTV and you may be recorded.
SAFETY & EMERGENCY
- Please observe the site speed limit of 10mph
- Visitors must remain in their job site areas and use only the prescribed routes to and from such areas. Your Catalent Representative will define these routes. Report all injuries, illnesses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts to your Catalent Representative.
- Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) attire is required in specified areas. Your Catalent
- Representative will inform you of the required PPE and provide as needed.
- Tobacco products and electronic cigarettes are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, except the single designated smoking area. Your Catalent
- Representative will direct you to this area.
- Mobile phone use is prohibited while operating vehicles while walking in the car park and in warehouse, laboratory, and production areas.
- Visitors and Contractors must follow all site Safety and Security Rules.
Reporting Emergencies:
In case of emergency, dial Ext. 8888 from any phone to contact Reception. Give your location and type of emergency.
A list of first aiders is available on the noticeboards. Alternatively, ask your Catalent Representative for support.
Fire:
If you discover a fire, go to the nearest fire alarm call point, and activate the alarm, notify your escort, or call Ext. 8888 and notify Reception.
GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP)
- This facility adheres to regulatory requirements for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Please follow all site GMP requirements as designated by your Catalent Representative (safety shoes can be issued if required).
- This includes:
- No food or drink outside of break/office areas.
- No jewelry, gum, open toe/heel shoes, make up, nail varnish or false nails / extensions in designated GMP areas.
- Persons suffering from infectious conditions must not enter the area.
- Persons suffering from allergies, non-infectious skin conditions or skin cuts must seek advice from their Catalent Representative.
SIGNS & WARNINGS
- Please be aware of displayed warning/personal protection signs and adhere to instruction issued by Catalent staff.
- Follow all posted signage relating to COVID-19, i.e. wearing masks, social- distancing, handwashing, etc.
- Do not enter restricted areas or touch any product, materials, machinery controls or equipment, unless authorized to do so by a Catalent employee.
