Catalent Receives RoSPA Silver Award for its Health and Safety Practices
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which is the longest-running industry awards scheme in the U.K., recognizes achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Julia Small, Head of Qualifications, Awards and Events, RoSPA said, “RoSPA wants every employee, wherever they are, to work safe in the knowledge that they will be going home unharmed and healthy at the end of every day. The RoSPA Award winners are vital to help achieve this goal, as by entering they are driving up standards and setting new benchmarks for organizations everywhere. Currently, around 7 million people are directly impacted by the RoSPA Awards, but the scheme’s influence is even wider.”
“We are pleased to receive this prestigious award for the second year running, underlining Catalent’s commitment to excellence in its Environment, Health and Safety Management System and the safety of our staff,” added Pete Williams, Vice-President, Global EHS, Security and Reliability Excellence at Catalent.
Catalent will be presented with the award during a ceremony on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at the ExCel Exhibition Centre, London.
